Innovative Technologies. Unique Solutions.
In his recent interview with Manufacturing Technology Insights Magazine, Priority Plastics President Scott Dowrey’s message came through loud and clear: the key to market leadership lies in adopting innovative technologies to provide unique solutions for your customers.
The publication recently named Priority Plastics a Top Manufacturing Packaging Solutions Provider for 2021.
Priority Plastics has garnered several national articles and recognitions based upon recent expansions and newly acquired technologies. The article highlights how investment in new technologies yields new and unique manufacturing capabilities resulting in expanded product lines.
“We have developed a vision and a focus within our company that concentrates our priorities on people and our products with the key tie-in factor where the value proposition is created – and, that is technology”, Dowrey was quoted as saying.
Specifically highlighted was the recent installation of injection stretch blow molding (ISBM) technology to bring more clear plastic PET products to market. The ISBM technology by Priority Plastics will bring proprietary shapes and sizes to the North American market not currently available in the U.S.
In addition to this, the company also completed a high speed HDPE expansion in late 2019 at the Portland, Indiana location. This improvement greatly increased tight head manufacturing capacities.
Explosive Growth Mode.
The article further highlights Priority Plastics’ volume and diversity of products offered. “ By bringing new technologies and products to its already vast catalog of HDPE containers PET containers and PVC containers” – that the company is in the midst of experiencing “Explosive Growth”.
The publication recognized UN-rated PriorityPour tight heads as an example of bringing “a superior container to market with a higher level of safety and security while now being cost-competitive”.
Dowrey also indicated PriorityPour tight heads help many of the companies’ customers meet their sustainability goals by utilizing the multi-layer version of the product. The design incorporates a layer of post-consumer resin “sandwiched” between virgin resins.
People make the difference
While Dowrey praises the technological aspects of the company, he concludes that the company’s true strength lies in its people. “One of the key foundations and pillars to Priority Plastics’ success is (our) company culture. We have invested heavily to develop a people-centric culture within their organization to rally in service of people so we grow together and enrich lives”, the article concluded.
