Inside Sales Associate
Summary
Position will support sales department in the selling process and with customer relationship.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Maintain the CRM with all customer contact information, communications, opportunities, and activities/issues.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
- Identify potential sales opportunities through active independent market research.
- Understand customer needs and requirements.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales personnel for further development and closure.
- Close sales and achieve quarterly quotas.
- Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
- Maintain and expand your database of prospective customers.
- Team with others to build pipeline and close deals.
- Perform effective online demos to prospects.
- Occasionally travel to customers, trade shows, or industry events.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three to five years of relevant sales work experience required. Marketing experience preferred.
- Proficiency in use of contact research and lead generation tools, including Zoom Info.
- Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology, specifically Salesforce.
- Strong written and oral communication and computer and office equipment skills required.
- Strong creative, analytical, and decision making skills required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work onsite at manufacturing facility at three (3) days per week.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
